ARDEX AF 785 is a high-performance adhesive specifically designed for linoleum sheet and tile floorcoverings. Product Description
ARDEX AF 785 is suitable for all types of linoleum sheets and tiles and can be used with ARDEX latex or water-based levelling compounds. It provides excellent bond strength while minimising the risk of adhesive serration showing through the floorcovering. The product is suitable for use with castor wheel traffic, delivering consistent performance across domestic, educational, and healthcare environments.

Application Instructions
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, level, and at the recommended temperature (in accordance with BS 8203). Apply ARDEX AF 785 evenly using a serrated trowel held at a 60° angle. Position the linoleum into the wet adhesive after an airing time of 0–5 minutes. Only spread as much adhesive as can be covered within the working time. Use a cork board or rubbing tool to remove air pockets, then roll with a 68kg roller both crosswise and lengthwise. Avoid wet cleaning for at least 48 hours after installation.
Priming
Priming is typically not required. However, on highly absorbent surfaces, priming with ARDEX P 51 (diluted 1:3 with clean water) can improve working time and adhesive coverage.
Cleaning
Wipe up adhesive residues immediately with a damp cloth. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents unless approved by the floorcovering manufacturer.
Storage & Safety
Store unopened tubs in a cool, dry area, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Shelf life is 12 months. Avoid skin and eye contact; wash thoroughly if contact occurs. In case of ingestion or eye exposure, seek medical attention immediately.

30-day return window
Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.
Items must be unused & in original packaging
Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.
Installed or cut items cannot be returned
Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.
How to start a return
Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Refund to original payment method
Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.
Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.
Damaged or incorrect items
Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.
Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply
Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.
Cancellations
Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.
