Mapeheat Mesh is a self-adhesive, pre-wired, floor-heating mesh that can be adhered onto the subfloor during the layout process. Its compatibility with all subfloor types and its low profile (4.5 mm) make it ideal for renovation projects.
Mapeheat Mesh can be installed under ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural stone, laminate flooring, engineered wood flooring and luxury vinyl flooring.
Mapeheat Mesh’s heating cable is attached to the self-adhesive mesh layer by three mesh bands. These bands help to maintain consistent spacing of the cable while allowing easy removal of the cable during installation in hard-to-reach areas. Thanks to its twin coil design, the PVC-coated heating cable emits no measurable electromagnetic fields. Plus, the cable features a thin mechanical splice and a thin, flexible, 13.05m cold lead that is easy to embed in the subfloor and route to the thermostat’s location.

Mapeheat Mesh is available in various sizes from 1m² to 12m², dependent on wattage selected.

Mapeheat Fault Sensor Mapeheat Fault Sensor is used to verify the continuity of the heating cable and the integrity of its outer jacket during the installation process. The device connects to the cold leads of the cable and, if the heating cable is damaged, the alarm on the monitor will sound. The monitor can also be re-used for subsequent installations and to help troubleshoot any problems that may arise.

Delivery Costs:

Delivery fees are calculated based on the weight of your order and your delivery location. You can use the delivery fee calculator in your basket or on the checkout page to find the exact cost.


Delivery Area:

We currently only deliver to UK Mainland and the Highlands. We do not deliver to the Islands, Ireland, or Northern Ireland.


Next Working Day Delivery (Subject to Stock Availability):

Orders placed before 12:00 pm (noon) will be delivered the next working day, excluding weekends and holidays. This service starts from £6.50 (including VAT) and the final cost is based on the weight of your order and your delivery location. You can check the exact cost in your shopping cart or on the checkout page by entering your postcode.

Economy Service (2-3 Working Days):

This service is only available for orders over 50kg. There is no additional charge for this service.


Sample Orders:

All sample orders are shipped for free via Royal Mail Tracked 48 or 24 service. Delivery typically takes 1-3 working days.


Delivery Methods:

Non-sample orders under 50kg will be dispatched via DPD or APC Overnight. Non-sample orders over 50kg (quarter, half, and full pallets) will be dispatched via Palletways or Kandrmason (curbside delivery only).

30-day return window

Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.

Items must be unused & in original packaging

Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.

Installed or cut items cannot be returned

Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.

How to start a return

Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Refund to original payment method

Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.

Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.

Damaged or incorrect items

Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.

Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply

Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.

Cancellations

Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.

Important: Do not book a tiler or fitter until your order has arrived and been fully checked. Installed tiles cannot be returned.
