TOPCEM PRONTO is a ready-mixed mortar, easy to use with high thermal conductivity, for high-efficiency heated floors. Dries more quickly than normal sand/cement screeds to make your work simpler and quicker.
Where to use:
For forming unbonded and bonded screeds on new and existing slabs in interiors and exteriors prior to installing wood, PVC, linoleum, ceramic tile, natural stone, carpet or other floor coverings in areas where fast-drying screeds are required in order to lay floorings in a short time
Preparation of the substrate
Topcem Pronto can be used on any substrate as long as it is not subject to rising damp. If so, use a waterproof membrane.
For screeds from 10 to 35 mm thick, that require anchoring, the substrate must be dry, without cracks, free of dust and loose particles, varnish, wax, oil, and gypsum residues.
Preparing the mix
Topcem Pronto can be mixed in:
- Rotating mixers;
- Normal job site mixers;
- Centrifugal mixers;
- Automatic pressure pumps.
Mix one 25 kg bag of Topcem Pronto with 1.7 l of water for at least five minutes. Never vary the amount of water because this will weaken the mortar’s final performance.
The mix should have a semi-dry consistency. Tamp and float the mix until a dense, smooth surface is obtained without bleeding.

Mixing ratio: 1 25 kg bags of TOPCEM PRONTO with 1.7 litres of water.
Workability time: 40-60 minutes.
Set to light foot traffic: after 12 hours.
Waiting time before laying: 24 hours for ceramic tiles, 2 days for natural stone and 4 days for resilient and wood coverings.
Residual humidity after 4 days: less than 2%.
EMICODE: EC1 Plus - very low emission.
Storage: 12 months.
Application: tapping and flattening with a straight edge.
Consumption: 18-20 kg/m² per cm of thickness according to the grade of compacting.
Thermal efficiency: ? = 2,008 W/mK.
Packaging: 25 kg bags.

30-day return window
Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.
Items must be unused & in original packaging
Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.
Installed or cut items cannot be returned
Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.
How to start a return
Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Refund to original payment method
Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.
Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.
Damaged or incorrect items
Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.
Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply
Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.
Cancellations
Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.
