The Schüter-KERDI-LINE-D is a sleek, frameless channel cover designed for seamless integration with the KERDI-LINE-G3 linear drainage system. Available in 8 lengths (49–119 cm), it provides a perfect fit for various applications, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics.
Material Properties and Applications
Classified as K3 under DIN EN 1253, this cover is ideal for non-vehicle areas like wetrooms, nursing homes, hotels, schools, and public washroom facilities. It supports wheelchair traffic and offers a brushed stainless steel V4A option (material no. 1.4404 = AISI 316L) for enhanced resistance to chemicals and mechanical stress.
How to Install

Wall Installation:

Attach the cover strip to the wall after removing the protective foil.

Place spacers in the channel body.
-
Install the shower area covering up to the channel body, removing excess thin-bed mortar and sealing open adhesive areas.

Ensure the covering width matches the clearance from the wall to the spacer's inner edge, minus 1 mm.

Intermediate Installation:

The covering width should match the spacer’s inside width (50 mm).

For exposed edges, adapt the cover to the joint width or use it as perimeter drainage.

Adhering the Covering:
-
Remove spacers after curing, apply thin-bed mortar to the covering support, and adhere the covering, aligning it properly.

Keep the covering support area open when applying cement grout.

Important Note: Avoid using acetic-crosslinking silicone on channels, frames, and grates. Ensure excess mortar is removed and open adhesive areas are sealed thoroughly.
How to Look After This Product

Use cleaning agents free of hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acid.

Prevent contact with other metals, such as regular steel, to avoid corrosion. Avoid tools like steel trowels or steel wool for removing mortar residue.

Do not use abrasive cleaners on sensitive surfaces, particularly polished stainless steel (EP).

For best results, use Schüter-CLEAN-CP stainless steel cleaning polish.

Returns & Refunds
30-day return window
Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.
Items must be unused & in original packaging
Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.
Installed or cut items cannot be returned
Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.
How to start a return
Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Refund to original payment method
Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.
Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.
Damaged or incorrect items
Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.
Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply
Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.
Cancellations
Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.

Delivery Costs
Delivery charges are calculated based on the weight of your order and your delivery postcode. You can check the exact delivery cost in your basket or at checkout before placing your order.
Delivery Area
We currently deliver to UK Mainland and selected Highlands postcodes. Unfortunately, we do not deliver to the Islands, Ireland, or Northern Ireland.
Next Working Day Delivery
Orders placed before 12:00pm are eligible for next working day delivery, subject to stock availability. This excludes weekends and public holidays.
Prices start from £6.50 inc VAT, with the final cost based on your order weight and delivery location.
Genesis non-stock items: order by 11:00am for next working day dispatch eligibility.
Scotland Postcode Exceptions
Next working day delivery is not available for the following postcode areas: AB, IV, KW, and PA.
Economy Delivery (2–3 Working Days)
Economy delivery is available for orders over 50kg. There is no additional charge for this service.
Sample Orders
Sample orders are delivered free of charge via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48. Delivery usually takes 1–3 working days.

- Orders under 50kg: usually sent via DPD or APC Overnight.
- Orders over 50kg: usually delivered on a quarter, half, or full pallet via Palletways or Kandrmason.
- Pallet deliveries are kerbside only and are subject to access and vehicle restrictions.

Returns Information

General Returns Policy
- Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us within 48 hours of receipt if any item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
- We will replace items damaged in transit, provided the issue is reported within 30 days of delivery.
- We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the goods being returned in suitable condition.
- For non-fault returns, including change of mind, ordering the wrong item, or ordering too much, the customer is responsible for the return cost.
- Refunds are processed once the returned goods have been received and checked at our warehouse.
Returning Trims
Schlüter Trims (Non-Stock Special items)
- Returns are subject to a 35% restocking fee.
- If you are returning an item and ordering a replacement, a 15% restocking fee applies.
- Customers are responsible for arranging the return unless otherwise agreed.
- If we arrange collection, a £35 collection charge will apply.
Mapei Profilpas Trims (Non-Stock Special Items)
- Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Items must be returned in re-saleable condition.
- The customer is responsible for returning the goods.
