Schluter-SHELF-E-S1 are triangular shelves for installation in corners.
They are available in the design variants FLORAL, CURVE, PURE, SQUARE and WAVE in the finish choices brushed stainless steel or TRENDLINE powder coated aluminium.
The shelves can be integrated into the tile assembly during tile installation or retrofitted into the joints of tiled walls, using the 2 mm attachment tabs.
SHELF-E-S1 are suitable as shelves in shower areas, but can also be integrated into other tiled areas such as tiled kitchen walls. It can be used as a storage shelf in all tiled wall areas (e.g., showers, tiled kitchen surfaces).
Schlüter-SHELF-E are shelves in three different shapes for installation in corners. The shelves can be directly integrated into the tile assembly during tile installation or retrofitted into the joints of tiled walls, using the 2 mm attachment wings.
The specified corner installation and an application of silicone ensures optimum load transfer.
How to look after this product
Schlüter-SHELF requires no special maintenance or care. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents on the sensitive surfaces.
Stainless steel surfaces exposed to the environment or aggressive substances should be cleaned periodically using a mild household cleaner. Regular cleaning maintains the neat appearance of stainless steel and reduces the risk of corrosion.
All cleaning agents must be free of hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acid.
Avoid contact with other metals, such as regular steel, to prevent corrosion. This also includes installation tools such as trowels or steel wool, e.g. for the removal of mortar residue.
How to install this product
Corner – direct integration as part of tile installation
- Install the tile covering with a joint width of ≥ 2 mm.
- Once the tile adhesive has set, position SHELF-E and mark the tile, moving about 1 cm from the outside edge of the shelf toward the inside. Remove the shelf during grout application to protect it against staining. Leave the joints in the marked area open.
- Once the grout material has set, the shelf can be put in its final position.
- Apply a silicone bead around it on all sides.
- Observe the curing time of the silicone bead before using the shelf.
Corner - retrofit installation
- Determine the joint where SHELF-E is to be placed.
- Now mark the areas where no grout will be applied to accommodate the attachment wings.
- Grind the tile joint with a suitable tool (grooving tool, angle grinder etc.).
Caution: Watch the depth of the cut to avoid damaging any waterproofing layers installed behind the tiles. - Position the shelf and apply a silicone bead around it on all sides.
- Observe the curing time of the silicone bead before using the shelf.

30-day return window
Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.
Items must be unused & in original packaging
Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.
Installed or cut items cannot be returned
Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.
How to start a return
Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Refund to original payment method
Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.
Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.
Damaged or incorrect items
Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.
Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply
Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.
Cancellations
Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.
