ADESILEX P4 – High-Performance Quick-Setting Grey Adhesive
ADESILEX P4 is a high-performance, self-buttering, quick-setting grey cementitious adhesive, specially designed for the installation of ceramic tiles and natural stone materials. It may also be used for smoothing internal and external surfaces, making it a versatile solution for floors.

Where to Use
Ideal for floor bonding of all types of medium and large ceramic, porcelain, natural stone (not sensitive to moisture), terracotta, and terrazzo tiles for both interior and exterior floors. Can also be used for interior and exterior smoothing of substrates such as concrete slabs, cementitious screeds, and existing tile, terrazzo, or stone floors.
Application Guidelines
Mix ADESILEX P4 with 19–21 parts water per 100 parts powder to form a semi-fluid, easily trowellable mortar. Apply with a notched trowel and ensure full back-buttering of tiles. Adjust and position tiles within 30 minutes. Joints can be grouted after 4 hours, and movement joints should be sealed with MAPEI sealants.
Recommendations
- Do not use on walls or slanted surfaces.
- Not suitable for wood, metal, rubber, PVC, or linoleum.
- Avoid using with stones subject to moisture-induced movement.

- Compressive strength: 14 N/mm² (28 days)
- Flexural strength: 5 N/mm² (28 days)
- Adhesion after 28 days: 2.0 N/mm²
- Excellent resistance to damp, ageing, solvents, and oils
Cleaning & Maintenance
Clean tools and hands with water immediately after use. Tiles may be cleaned with a damp sponge; a little water may be used after a few hours.
Consumption Guide
- Medium tiles on smooth surfaces: 3–5 kg/m²
- Large tiles or uneven surfaces: 5–10 kg/m²
- Smoothing: approx. 1.4 kg/m² per mm thickness

30-day return window
Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.
Items must be unused & in original packaging
Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.
Installed or cut items cannot be returned
Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.
How to start a return
Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Refund to original payment method
Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.
Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.
Damaged or incorrect items
Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.
Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply
Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.
Cancellations
Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.
