Product Description
ARDEX AF 835 provides a reliable tack layer for securing carpet tiles with bitumen, felt, fleece, and PVC/PUR backings. It is ideal as a release adhesive for carpet underlays in the double stick method, used with ARDEX AF 325. The adhesive maintains excellent grab and allows extended working time up to 24 hours. Compatible with all ARDEX latex and water-based levelling compounds, ARDEX AF 835 supports commercial and domestic installations with chairs fitted with castor wheels.

Application Instructions
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and within the recommended temperature as specified by the floorcovering manufacturer and BS 5325. Apply ARDEX AF 835 evenly using a trowel and roller. Allow the adhesive to air for 20–35 minutes depending on substrate absorbency. The adhesive remains workable for up to 24 hours. Position flooring carefully and remove air pockets using a cork board or rubbing tool. Roll with a 68kg roller side to side and end to end. Wait before wet cleaning for at least 48 hours.
Priming
Priming is not required for most surfaces. On highly absorbent substrates, ARDEX P 51 diluted 1:3 with water can be applied to improve coverage and maintain working time.
Cleaning
Clean spills immediately with a damp cloth before the adhesive dries. Aggressive cleaning agents should only be used with the floorcovering manufacturer’s approval.
Storage & Safety
Store unopened tubs in a cool, dry place away from draughts. Follow standard hygiene practices. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash with soap and water if contact occurs, and seek medical advice if ingested or exposed to eyes.

30-day return window
Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.
Items must be unused & in original packaging
Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.
Installed or cut items cannot be returned
Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.
How to start a return
Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Refund to original payment method
Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.
Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.
Damaged or incorrect items
Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.
Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply
Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.
Cancellations
Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.
