ARDEX F 5 is a brilliant white, cementitious, MICROTEC fibre-reinforced fairing coat and lightweight repair mortar for walls and ceilings. It provides a slump-free, easy-to-apply mortar suitable for patch work, edge repairs, cavity filling, and smoothing of vertical and overhead surfaces. ARDEX F 5 dries quickly to a smooth, hard-wearing surface ready for painting or other decorative finishes the next day.

Applications
- Patch work, filling cracks, holes, gaps, and cavities
- Levelling and smoothing internal walls and ceilings
- External facades and shop fronts
- Preparing surfaces for paints, protective coats, renders, and mineral coatings
- Use in areas prone to damp or water ingress
Mixing & Application
- Gradually mix powder with clean water (2 parts powder : 1 part water) to a lump-free consistency.
- Allow mixture to stand 2–3 minutes, then remix to a smooth creamy consistency.
- Apply with trowel, blade, or filling knife from feather edge up to 20mm thick. Localised repairs can be applied up to 50mm.
- Fill holes gradually from the edges to prevent air bubbles.
- Open time approx. 30 minutes at 20°C.
- Subsequent smoothing can be performed approx. 40 minutes after application.
- Optional: Mix with ARDEX FINE AGGREGATE (1 part powder : 0.3 parts sand) for minor cracks or rough substrates.
- Do not exceed recommended water quantities. Apply at temperatures above 5°C.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store in original packaging, clear of the ground, in cool, dry conditions, protected from excessive temperatures. Shelf life: 12 months.

30-day return window
Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.
Items must be unused & in original packaging
Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.
Installed or cut items cannot be returned
Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.
How to start a return
Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Refund to original payment method
Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.
Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.
Damaged or incorrect items
Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.
Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply
Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.
Cancellations
Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.
