The ultimate solution for preparing internal floors for tiling or soft floor finishes.

BAL Level Max is a rapid-setting, high-performance, single-part, fibre-reinforced cementitious levelling compound designed to deliver exceptional floor preparation results. Ideal for both domestic and commercial interiors, this self-smoothing, polymer-modified leveller is specially formulated for most internal substrates, including timber floors, concrete, screeds, and tile backer boards.

Suitable For:

  • Absorbent and non-absorbent internal subfloors
  • Timber floors (minimum 3mm depth)
  • Concrete, cement:sand screeds
  • Tile backer/fibre cement boards
  • Mastic asphalt (flooring grade)
  • Anhydrite/calcium sulfate screeds (with preparation)
  • Ceramic tile adhesive residues
  • Unglazed ceramic tiles or hard natural stone
  • Floors with underfloor heating
  • Thermoplastic vinyl tiles (with correct prep)
  • Resilient flooring (vinyl, linoleum, carpet) after 24 hours drying

Not Suitable For:

  • Exterior use
  • Wet areas without prior tanking (use BAL Waterproof 1C or BAL Tank-It)
  • Swimming pools or areas of total water immersion
  • Use as a final wearing surface
  • Cushioned flooring types (must be removed before use)

Delivery fees are calculated based on the weight of your order and your delivery location. You can use the delivery fee calculator in your basket or on the checkout page to find the exact cost.


Delivery Area:

We currently only deliver to UK Mainland and the Highlands. We do not deliver to the Islands, Ireland, or Northern Ireland.


Next Working Day Delivery (Subject to Stock Availability):

Orders placed before 12:00 pm (noon) will be delivered the next working day, excluding weekends and holidays. This service starts from £6.50 (including VAT) and the final cost is based on the weight of your order and your delivery location. You can check the exact cost in your shopping cart or on the checkout page by entering your postcode.


Cut-off Time for Genesis Products (Non-Stocked): 11:00am


Economy Service (2-3 Working Days):

This service is only available for orders over 50kg. There is no additional charge for this service.


Sample Orders:

All sample orders are shipped for free via Royal Mail Tracked 48 or 24 service. Delivery typically takes 1-3 working days.


Delivery Methods:

Non-sample orders under 50kg will be dispatched via DPD or APC Overnight. Non-sample orders over 50kg (quarter, half, and full pallets) will be dispatched via Palletways or Kandrmason (curbside delivery only).

Returnign trim with replacement - 15% restocking fees applied
Customers are responsible to arrange returning the item.
If we arrange a return colleciton, a £35 return item collection feed will be applied.


Mapei-Profilpas Trims
A 20% restocking fee will be applied. (Item must be in re-sellable condition)
The customer is responsible for returning the item.

30-day return window

Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.

Items must be unused & in original packaging

Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.

Installed or cut items cannot be returned

Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.

How to start a return

Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Refund to original payment method

Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.

Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.

Damaged or incorrect items

Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.

Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply

Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.

Cancellations

Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.

Important: Do not book a tiler or fitter until your order has arrived and been fully checked. Installed tiles cannot be returned.
