Not suitable for: Exterior use, wood floors in constant contact with water, or high-traffic public areas like offices, entertainment venues, and shopping centres.

Surface Preparation

  1. Buff floors until smooth and clean. Remove oil, wax, grease, silicone, and old varnish.
  2. Fill cracks or smooth irregular surfaces using Aqua-Pur Flex. Wait 1–2 hours, then sand with 120-grit mesh.
  3. Remove dust using an antistatic cloth. Optionally, apply Aqua-Pur Basic before the first coat.

Application Instructions

  1. Shake the can thoroughly before use.
  2. Pour into a tray. Dilute 5–10% with clean water or Aqua-Pur Retard if needed.
  3. Apply with a Roller Plus at ≈ 80–100 ml/m² per coat.
  4. After 3 hours, apply the second coat; sand lightly with 220-grit mesh before the third coat.
  5. Clean tools with water immediately after use.

Maintenance

  • Use Supersoap for routine cleaning.
  • Use Refresher or Care Pro for periodic maintenance depending on floor wear.
  • Avoid direct sunlight and drafts for the first 3 hours after application.

Special Notes

  • Product must reach room temperature before use.
  • Use clean containers and tools for application.
  • Do not mix different product batches on the same surface.
  • Test on less common wood types before full application to ensure compatibility.

1. Can Aqua-Pur be used outdoors or in damp areas?

No. Aqua-Pur is designed strictly for interior use and should not be used on surfaces exposed to frequent or constant moisture.

2. Is Aqua-Pur suitable for commercial or heavy-traffic areas?

No. It is best suited for residential interiors and medium-traffic areas. For high-traffic or commercial spaces, a stronger industrial finish is recommended.

3. How many coats are required, and is sanding necessary?

Apply three coats: the second coat about 3 hours after the first, and the third coat after 10–12 hours with light sanding (220-grit) before the final coat.

4. What is the recommended coverage per coat?

Approximately 80–100 ml/m² per coat.

5. What is the product’s shelf life?

12 months when stored in its original sealed container, away from heat and direct sunlight.

6. What temperature range is suitable for application?

Apply between +5 °C and +30 °C in a stable indoor environment.

7. Can Aqua-Pur be diluted?

30-day return window

Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.

Items must be unused & in original packaging

Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.

Installed or cut items cannot be returned

Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.

How to start a return

Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Refund to original payment method

Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.

Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.

Damaged or incorrect items

Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.

Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply

Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.

Cancellations

Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.

Important: Do not book a tiler or fitter until your order has arrived and been fully checked. Installed tiles cannot be returned.
