Kerakoll Aqua-Pur Flex is an eco-friendly, water-based gel designed for filling defects and deep cracks in wood floors. Formulated with added wood dust, it creates a thixotropic, quick-drying mixture that is easy to apply and sand, while providing exceptional adhesion and filling power. Perfect as both a filler and primer coat before varnishing, Aqua-Pur Flex enhances surface uniformity and regulates wood absorption for professional-grade finishes.

Instructions for Use
Preparation of Substrates
Sand the hardwood floor using abrasives of increasing grain size (e.g. 36–60–100) from the Duraflex Zir, Duradisc XP Zir, or Duradisc 2 SIC range. The surface must be smooth, clean, and free of oils, waxes, silicone, or old varnish. Remove all dust before application. Ensure the moisture content of the wood is between 9% and 11%.
Preparation of the Mixture
The product is ready-to-use but can be mixed with wood flour obtained from sanding (grain 80–100) at a ratio of approximately 1:1 to 2:1 (Aqua-Pur Flex : wood flour) until a smooth, creamy consistency is achieved.
- For deep cracks and defects: use a more thixotropic mixture.
- For smaller cracks or pre-sanded floors: use a less thixotropic mix (2:1 ratio recommended).
Application
Apply evenly with a flexible stainless steel or plastic trowel, smoothing over the entire surface. Allow to dry for approximately 30 minutes, then sand with 120-grain abrasive mesh disc to remove excess filler. Clean the surface thoroughly of any sanding dust and wipe with an anti-static cloth.
Cleaning
Clean tools and equipment immediately with water or Roller Clean before the product hardens. Hardened Aqua-Pur Flex can be removed mechanically or by soaking in water.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Aqua-Pur Flex be used on exterior wood surfaces?
No. Aqua-Pur Flex is intended for interior wood floors only and should not be used on exterior surfaces or floors in contact with water.
How long does Aqua-Pur Flex take to dry before sanding?
Under normal conditions (20 °C and 65 % RH), Aqua-Pur Flex dries in approximately 30 minutes and can then be sanded smoothly.
What varnishes are compatible with Aqua-Pur Flex?
It is designed for use under Kerakoll Aqua-Pur Basic, Aqua-Pur Basic Rapid, Aqua-Pur, and Aqua-Pur HPX varnish systems.

Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.
Items must be unused & in original packaging
Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.
Installed or cut items cannot be returned
Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.
How to start a return
Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Refund to original payment method
Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.
Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.
Damaged or incorrect items
Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.
Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply
Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.
Cancellations
Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.
