Kerabond T — White Premium Cement-Based Tile Adhesive
Kerabond T is a cement-based adhesive designed for fixing all types of ceramic tiles and mosaics to internal and external walls and floors. When mixed with ISOLASTIC, it offers improved performance and increased flexibility. Coverage: approx. 2–5 kg/m² depending on tile size and trowel used.
Where to Use
- Fixing ceramic tiles and mosaics on walls and floors (internal & external).
- Spot-bonding insulating materials such as polystyrene, polyurethane, rock wool, glass wool, wood-cement and sound-deadening panels.
- On conventional renders, cement mortar walls, concrete slabs, reinforced floating slabs and primed gypsum or anhydrite screeds.
Recommended with ISOLASTIC
Mix Kerabond T with ISOLASTIC in the following cases:
- Insulated concrete walls or precast structures
- Underfloor heating installations
- Large-format tiles and glass mosaics
- Stone materials (if not moisture-sensitive)
Not Suitable For
- Wooden substrates or gypsum board walls without primer
- Metal, rubber, PVC, or linoleum surfaces
- Adhesive layers over 5 mm thick
- Areas requiring rapid setting for light foot traffic
Preparation
Substrates must be cured, dry, sound, and free from dust, grease, oils, paint or wax. Cement screeds must be cured for at least 28 days, concrete for 6 weeks, and renders for 1 week per cm thickness. Gypsum/anhydrite screeds must be primed with Primer G or Eco Prim T Plus.
Mixing
Mix 20 kg of Kerabond T with 4.8–5.2 L of clean water using a slow-speed mixer until lump-free. Leave for 5–10 minutes, remix, then apply. Pot life: approx. 8 hours.
Application
- Apply with a notched trowel ensuring 65–70% coverage for walls and 100% for floors and external use.
- Mosaics (≤5x5 cm): MAPEI No.4 trowel.
- Ceramic wall tiles: MAPEI No.5 V-notched trowel (~2.5–3 kg/m²).
- Floors/irregular backs: MAPEI No.6 V-notched trowel (~4–5 kg/m²).
- Large/external tiles: back-buttering recommended.
Grouting & Sealing
- Wall joints: grout after 4–8 hours
- Floor joints: grout after 24 hours
- Expansion joints: seal with MAPEI sealants
Technical Data
- Coverage: 2–5 kg/m² (depending on tile size/trowel)
- Open time: 20–30 minutes
- Adjustability: up to 45 minutes
- Light foot traffic: after 24 hours
- Ready for use: after approx. 14 days
Packaging & Storage
Supplied in 20 kg paper sacks (white and grey). Shelf life: 12 months in original sealed packaging stored in dry conditions.
Cleaning
Clean tools with water immediately after use. Clean tile surfaces with a damp cloth after a few hours, avoiding excess water.

30-day return window
Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.
Items must be unused & in original packaging
Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.
Installed or cut items cannot be returned
Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.
How to start a return
Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Refund to original payment method
Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.
Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.
Damaged or incorrect items
Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.
Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply
Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.
Cancellations
Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.
