Marmox Soundboards - Designed to reduce the noise that can be heard in the room or flat below, and is suitable for use on timber or concrete flooring types.

Allows floors to be tiled without the concern of causing noise pollution - the boards are designed to solve problems incurred by structural vibrations from impact sound (e.g. footsteps).

Waterproof tile backer boards for floors providing decoupling, impact sound insulation and thermal insulation, used to stop footfall noise on a tiled floor being heard in the room or flat underneath.

The SoundBoard will remove the solid link between where the impact sound happens (floor/ ceiling) with a layer of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) foam. The side with the sound attenuating layer will then effectively isolate the tiles and the tile backer board from the floor, so the impact sound vibrations cannot be transmitted into the room below.
