ARDEX A 38 has been specially formulated to produce ultra-rapid drying floor screeds for internal and external locations. With ‘RAPIDRY PLUS FORMULA’ Technology, an ARDEX A 38 screed can be walked on just 3 hours after application and ceramic and natural stone tiles can be installed after just 4 hours irrespective of thickness, making it ideal for fast track tiling projects. Resilient floorcoverings such as carpet, vinyl and wood can be installed after 48 hours irrespective of thickness. ARDEX A 38 achieves rapid strengthening and will pass a BRE Screed (ISCR) Test after just 6 hours. After a day, it will also exceed the acceptable minimum compressive and tensile bending strengths attained by ordinary cement screeds after 28 days.


USE

ARDEX A 38 is used to produce bonded, unbonded and floating screeds for internal and external locations, including wet areas such as swimming pools. It can also be used for large repairs to existing cement/sand screeds. It is ideal for situations where early foot traffic and rapid hardening is required.

Delivery Costs:

Delivery fees are calculated based on the weight of your order and your delivery location. You can use the delivery fee calculator in your basket or on the checkout page to find the exact cost.


Delivery Area:

We currently only deliver to UK Mainland and the Highlands. We do not deliver to the Islands, Ireland, or Northern Ireland.


Next Working Day Delivery (Subject to Stock Availability):

Orders placed before 12:00 pm (noon) will be delivered the next working day, excluding weekends and holidays. This service starts from £6.50 (including VAT) and the final cost is based on the weight of your order and your delivery location. You can check the exact cost in your shopping cart or on the checkout page by entering your postcode.

Economy Service (2-3 Working Days):

This service is only available for orders over 50kg. There is no additional charge for this service.


Sample Orders:

All sample orders are shipped for free via Royal Mail Tracked 48 or 24 service. Delivery typically takes 1-3 working days.


Delivery Methods:

Non-sample orders under 50kg will be dispatched via DPD or APC Overnight. Non-sample orders over 50kg (quarter, half, and full pallets) will be dispatched via Palletways or Kandrmason (curbside delivery only).

A 20% restocking fee will be applied. (Item must be in re-sellable condition)
The customer is responsible for returning the item.

30-day return window

Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. You also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right from the date of receipt.

Items must be unused & in original packaging

Returned goods must be uninstalled, unaltered and in the same condition as received.

Installed or cut items cannot be returned

Once tiles or materials have been cut, altered or installed, no return or refund is possible under any circumstances.

How to start a return

Contact us first at info@tileexperience.co.uk or call 0208 689 4187. Send the item back with your name and order number. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Refund to original payment method

Processed within 3–5 working days of us receiving and approving your return.

Original delivery charges are not refunded. If no refund after 15 business days, contact us.

Damaged or incorrect items

Report within 48 hours of receipt. Email info@tileexperience.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damage. Confirmed replacements are sent next working day at no charge.

Non-stocked brands — restocking fee may apply

Returns for Genesis, Marmox and Bihui carry up to a 20% restocking fee. Schluter trims: 35% standard return, 15% if returning with a replacement order.

Cancellations

Cancel before dispatch for a full refund including delivery. Cancel after dispatch by rejecting the delivery — refund for goods only, not the delivery charge.

Important: Do not book a tiler or fitter until your order has arrived and been fully checked. Installed tiles cannot be returned.
